I highly recommend Ivan Icaza of Toronto West. From the moment we contacted him, Ivan was very professional and helped us make decisions regarding the budget and design of our deck. He provided us with lots of samples and explained the pros and cons of each. He also gave us a lot of ideas and suggestions regarding design and how to save costs. He tried his best to work with the very small budget we gave him. He was in constant contact with us, letting us know what is happening every step of the way. He and his team member, Tom, came in early every morning so that the job would be completed early. They were very friendly and always happily answered all of our questions and concerns. I have had bad experiences with contractors who just do not care but with Ivan and Hickory Dickory Decks, I just sat back and knew that I was going to get something wonderful in the end. We are very happy with the final product; it is a very peaceful and zen space. I would highly recommend Ivan for any future projects!
