Custom Pool Decks

At Hickory Dickory Decks, we design and build custom pool decks and spa surrounds that create a seamless connection between your home, pool and outdoor living space. Our local team proudly serves Ancaster, Binbrook, Mount Hope, Smithville and surrounding areas.

Whether you're planning a new composite pool deck, upgrading an existing pool area or creating a relaxing hot tub retreat, we're here to help bring your backyard vision to life.

Spend more time enjoying your pool and less time maintaining your deck.

Composite and PVC decking are excellent choices for poolside living, moisture resistance, offering durability and attractive appearance. Unlike traditional wood decking, these materials are designed to resist moisture, fading and everyday wear, making them well suited for busy pool areas.

Composite and PVC decking also offer a comfortable, splinter-free surface that's ideal for bare feet around the pool. Available in a wide variety of colours, textures and finishes, low-maintenance composite and PVC decking can complement your home's exterior and create a polished, inviting outdoor space.

As experienced composite pool deck builders serving Ancaster, Binbrook, Mount Hope and Smithville, we can help you select the right materials and design for your backyard.

Whether you're adding a deck to an existing pool or planning a complete backyard transformation, a thoughtfully designed deck can create a seamless connection between your pool, patio and outdoor living areas.

At Hickory Dickory Decks, our team designs in-ground pool decks that work with your pool's shape, your property's layout and the way you want to use your backyard. From poolside lounging areas and outdoor dining spaces to walkways, stairs and multi-level designs, we'll help you make the most of your outdoor space.

This 540 square foot pool deck in Binbrook was built with Clubhouse PVC decking in 'Clay' and includes a custom roof providing a shaded poolside area and louvered privacy screens for a secluded feel.

Make your above-ground pool feel like a natural part of your backyard.

At Hickory Dickory Decks, we design custom above-ground pool decks with features such as integrated stairs, railings, gates, privacy screens and spacious lounging areas. Whether you're looking for a simple pool access deck or a larger multi-level design, we'll work with your backyard layout to create a finished, inviting space. The goal is to make the pool feel like part of the backyard — not something simply placed in it.

Whether you're adding a new hot tub or incorporating an existing spa into your outdoor living area, a well-designed deck can make the space more comfortable, accessible and inviting throughout the year.

Hot tubs require careful structural planning to accommodate their significant weight when filled with water and occupants. Our experienced Ancaster team considers these requirements along with access for ongoing maintenance and servicing and can incorporate features such as built-in steps, privacy screens, seating and deck lighting.

Clubhouse PVC decking was the perfect low-maintenance choice for this custom deck in Ancaster. We also added aluminum privacy screens around the hot tub area and an acrylic Sunspace roof that provides protection from the elements while allowing natural light to shine through.
