Meet Our New Mississauga NW & E Franchisees: Abigail and Edgar Aragon

Exciting things are happening in Mississauga as we welcome Abigail and Edgar Aragon, the newest members of the Hickory Dickory Decks family! This husband-and-wife team is bringing their wealth of experience, global perspective, and passion for craftsmanship to homeowners in Mississauga NW & E.

After years of international assignments, Abigail and Edgar have returned to Ontario, ready to embark on a new adventure. Edgar, a CPA, has spent the past 13 years working across Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia. Abigail, an engineer, has dedicated much of her time to volunteering and helping communities in multiple countries, all while honing her design and project management skills.

When considering their next steps, Hickory Dickory Decks felt like the perfect fit.

With Edgar’s strong financial background and Abigail’s keen eye for design and customer relations, they make a powerhouse team.

“We have never had our own business, so being a franchisee we feel that we can start our own venture but with the support and knowledge of an experienced company behind us.”

Mississauga is the ideal place for them to launch their business. With a diverse population and Canada’s 7th largest city, Abigail and Edgar are looking forward to calling Mississauga home. “It combines quiet neighbourhoods but boasts a large city-like centre with skyscrapers. 60 of the Fortune 500 companies have corporate centres or head offices in Mississauga.”

When they’re not building decks, Edgar and Abigail love spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and skiing. They also have a passion for travel, always eager to explore new cultures and experiences.
