  1. Consultation
    Conducted primarily through phone calls or emails, our initial consultation with you allows us to answer any questions you have and get an understanding of the scope of your project.
  2. Our First Meeting
    Our first meeting is usually done at your home, which allows us to see the space and discuss key elements in helping to design your dream deck. We will take measurements, go through our comprehensive Design Questionnaire (size, budget, personal preferences, etc.), and encourage you to provide input and share your vision. We will also share samples of composite and low-maintenance options and highlight the features we think may work for you and your space.
  3. Our Second Meeting
    Our second meeting will take place at your home or in our showroom. We will share samples of decking materials and help you visualize what your new deck will bring to your outdoor living space. We will present a deck design and quotation for your review. You will be provided with a 2d and/or 3d model of your deck with an itemized quotation to allow you to choose what best suits your needs and wants.
  4. Pre- Construction
    During this stage, our team will handle everything from permits, tearing out your old deck if needed, organizing material delivery, installing footing and preparing the site for professional carpenters to arrive.
  5. Construction
    During this stage, you can sit back and relax as your custom Hickory Dickory Deck project comes to life.
  6. Review and Closing
    There is nothing more rewarding than going back to a completed project and seeing the joy on our customers’ faces and knowing you’ll enjoy your deck for many years!
