PVC Deck Completes Modern Niagara-on-the-Lake Custom Home

We recently wrapped up a beautiful custom deck build for a stunning new home in Niagara‑on‑the‑Lake. The homeowner was building a sleek, all‑black home with a modern aesthetic and wanted a deck that complemented the home’s high-end design while offering a durable, low‑maintenance outdoor living space.

After reviewing several decking options, we chose a premium Canadian-made Clubhouse PVC decking product in the colour ‘Ironwood’.  

This PVC decking features a proprietary Korelite™ formulation designed to resist moisture, mold, rot and splintering. Both the cap and the core are made of the same material, creating a strong chemical bond that enhances structural integrity and long-term performance in a variable Southern Ontario climate.

Visually, the dark‑grey Ironwood decking provides a subtle yet elegant contrast to the custom home’s black exterior. We paired it with sleek black aluminum railings by ETP to complete the polished, contemporary look. 

A second-floor Juliet balcony built with the same materials matches the aesthetic of the lower deck.

The final result is a modern, durable deck that aligns perfectly with the homeowner’s vision for a contemporary, high-end home while delivering low-maintenance convenience.
