Meet Our New Abbotsford, British Columbia Franchisee: Brennan Stuart

Abbotsford, British Columbia is a vibrant city with a growing economy, making it a promising location for business. Starting a new construction company in Abbotsford sounds like an exciting venture and Brennan Stuart, a seasoned carpenter turned entrepreneur, is stepping into business with a Hickory Dickory Decks franchise.

Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Stuart has spent much of his life in Abbotsford. He was first introduced to the construction industry while spending summers with his grandfather in his custom-built home business. Throughout his life, he could be found building just about anything.  At the age of 25, Stuart found himself managing multi-million-dollar projects while working as a supervisor.  Wondering, however, what the future might hold for him in his career, he found himself late one night at the computer and came across the opportunity of ownership with Hickory Dickory Decks.

After taking time to travel following high school, Stuart took on a carpentry apprenticeship and became a licensed carpenter. This was the beginning of a career in building that would eventually bring him to Hickory Dickory Decks.

With his wife, Emily, and their young son, Jackson, cheering him on, Stuart dives headfirst into the world of franchise ownership. As he begins his journey in this new venture, he knows that every nail hammered and every board laid will be a step towards success in the decking industry.
