Cliff Side Retreat
This 2200 square foot deck is one of a find. This Clubhouse deck in ironwood has loads of accessibility to the various outdoor areas in this Parry Sound oasis. The upper deck entry has been reconfigured. The elimination of a narrow bridge from the driveway leads to the newly gated side entrance. The former stairs to the low deck were reconfigured allowing for better views of the panoramic scenery through the walkout basement. 3 custom aluminum privacy screens were added to the 9' skirt of the upper deck - one of these is a door leading to the under-deck storage area. These screens have the added benefit of improving air circulation beneath the resurfaced upper deck. The lower deck is irregular in shape due to the terrain and the location of the septic tank at the corner of the home. There is a set of stairs leading from the lower deck to the inclinator deck. The inclinator itself has been resurface and the final set of stairs from the inclinator deck level descends 92' to the boat house. Handrails were replaced with ink black wear deck - customized width. It has been routered with a 3/8 round over bit. Inclinator steps were replaced with cedar. A custom black powder-coated lid was made to cover the inclinator spool/motor housing. In-lite stair lights and post wedge lights were utilized in conjunction with the SmartHub 150. All railings are ETP PUR Topless glass - including stairs.
