We are looking for motivated carpenters and apprentices to join various franchise locations across Canada. These positions with Hickory Dickory Decks involve building beautiful custom decks and other outdoor structures from supplied plans and materials.

Each of our franchises across the country has created a strong team of professional deck builders.

Available positions include professional carpenters, sub-contractors, apprentices, co-op positions for students, and carpenter helpers. These are typically full-time seasonal positions that can extend to year-round work.

• Building custom decks and structures
• Working with building inspectors and permits
• Maintaining a clean worksite
• Interacting with homeowners
• Working with material lists and delivery schedules may be required

Qualifications will vary according to location. All who have a passion for construction and working outdoors are encouraged to apply. At Hickory Dickory Decks, we desire self-motivated individuals who have good communication skills, great leadership qualities, and a strong work ethic.

Compensation is competitive and based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Wage varies from minimum wage-$50/hour and may include other compensation such as bonuses, company vehicles and benefits.
