Designed to be a comfortable extension of the home, this 420-square-foot deck gave this client a low-maintenance place to relax, read, entertain and watch their favourite shows and sports outdoors.

From High Maintenance to High Enjoyment

This home had a pressure-treated wood deck that was still in reasonably good condition, but after being painted several times, the boards had started to chip and splinter, making the space less attractive and enjoyable. The homeowner wanted a deck that would look beautiful without requiring regular sanding, painting or staining. 

Choosing Clubhouse PVC Decking

After considering both composite and PVC decking, the client ultimately selected Clubhouse PVC decking.

PVC decking offers high resistance to moisture, scratches and slipping and remains comfortable underfoot in warm weather. The clay color gives the space a warm, natural appearance that complements the home beautifully.

The standout feature of this project is the impressive 12-by-16-foot Country Lane Pavilion.

The client wanted a shade structure to comfortably use the deck during the day. The pavilion was the perfect solution. It creates a cozy, sheltered area for reading, relaxing and entertaining while offering protection from the sun and changing weather.

A finished ceiling adds warmth and character to the space. The custom television wall turns the pavilion into a true outdoor living room. Whether watching the game or enjoying a movie night, our client now has a comfortable space for outdoor living.
