Meet Our New Perth County Franchisee: Sahil Sharma
We’re excited to introduce Sahil Sharma, our newest franchisee serving Perth County including Stratford, Listowel, St. Mary’s and Mitchell. Sharma brings a strong work ethic and a passion for building high-quality custom decks in his local community.
Journey to Hickory Dickory Decks
Before joining Hickory Dickory Decks, Sharma worked as a truck driver – an experience that helped shape his approach to his new career. “That experience taught me discipline, time management, and the importance of reliability. It also gave me a strong appreciation for hard work and consistency,” he says.
Looking for a new opportunity, Sharma wanted to build something of his own while staying close to home with his family. He was drawn to Hickory Dickory Decks for its strong reputation as a leading deck builder and its proven business model.
A Strong Support System
“I liked the idea of being part of a trusted brand while still running my own business,” he says. What stood out most was the company’s strong support system. “You’re running your own business, but you’re never alone,” says Sharma. “There’s always guidance available, and the team genuinely wants you to succeed. That support has made a big difference as I transition into this new role.”
As a deck builder, Sharma is excited to create outdoor spaces that bring people together. “I enjoy the idea of transforming outdoor spaces and seeing the impact of my work firsthand—it’s rewarding to create something people can enjoy with their families,” he says.
Living in Perth County
A resident of Perth County since 2020, Sharma takes pride in serving the same community he calls home. “It’s a welcoming community with a lot of growth and opportunity,” he says, noting it’s a great place to raise a family.
In his spare time, Sharma enjoys being with his family and staying active. “I like staying active and keeping busy, whether it’s through hands-on projects or just enjoying time outdoors with my family. I also have a strong interest in cars—I’ve always enjoyed learning about them and working on them when I can.”
