Meet Our New Sudbury/Blind River Franchisee: Greg McPhee

Published On: April 14th, 2026

We’re excited to welcome Greg McPhee as the newest Hickory Dickory Decks franchisee serving Sudbury and Blind River.

Greg McPhee

Originally from Echo Bay, McPhee has a deep connection to Northern Ontario and a genuine appreciation for everything the region has to offer. Whether it’s working or unwinding, he enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that makes the area so unique.

Before joining Hickory Dickory Decks, McPhee built a successful career as a butcher. He even ran his own grocery store for the past 10 years. Now, he’s channeling his entrepreneurial experience and passion for craftsmanship into a new venture—designing and building custom decks.

McPhee has always had an interest in home renovations. With two Airbnb properties and a summer home in Blind River, he brings hands-on experience in flipping and renovating homes. “I first saw Hickory Dickory Decks online and was intrigued by the idea of designing and building decks,” says McPhee.

The decking industry quickly stood out as the perfect fit, combining both creativity and technical skill. “It’s the perfect balance of fine carpentry and design work,” says McPhee.

With the support of the Hickory Dickory Decks team, McPhee is excited to grow his deck business and bring high-quality outdoor living spaces to Northern Ontario homeowners. “I get to design, build and sell a premium product that I can stand behind.”

When he’s not on-site or working with clients, McPhee stays active by training in his home gym and competing in half marathon races across Canada and the US alongside his wife.

We’re proud to have Greg McPhee join the Hickory Dickory Decks family and look forward to seeing his impact in the Sudbury and Blind River community.
