What’s New in Montreal?

Founded in 1642, Montreal is one of the oldest cities in Canada but what’s new in Montreal? Hickory Dickory Decks. Our new franchisee has chosen to do business in the city he hails from. This year, Hickory Dickory Decks will be building custom-designed decks in the province of Quebec. This is a first for the company and although John Slavich isn’t new to building, he has chosen to bring his skills to the largest deck company in Canada.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new franchise location in the vibrant city of Montreal! This expansion marks an exciting milestone for our brand as we bring our exceptional services to the heart of Quebec.

Born on the south shore of Montreal, John Slavich has spent most of his life in and around Montreal. He and his wife Chantal share two daughters, 16 and 22. Slavich has spent many years in the renovation industry, and while he professes to not being a young man anymore, he considers this new venture a great retirement gig.

 “I look forward to building a team that will allow me to get off the tools and focus on building the business,” says Slavich.

“I look forward to using my past experiences in this new venture,” he continues.

With a background in carpentry, Slavich is perfectly positioned to deliver the exceptional experience that our customers have come to expect.
